Mandurah Refugee Welcome & Support Group: Vintage High Tea Success
The Mandurah Refugee Welcome & Support Group (MRWSP) were spotted again in the Mandurah Coastal Times paper following the success of their recent Vintage High Tea fundraiser. The support group raised $6000 at the fundraiser event in preparation to welcome a refugee family to the Mandurah community. In order for the MRWSP to support this refugee family, they first had to raise half of a $20,000 budget. From the funds raised at their Vintage High Tea, the support group $4,000 to reach their goal.

Serving Soup to Local Families
For our June Community Sunday service, our church family prepared a variety of yummy soups for some local families in the Warnbro area. From chopping vegetables to cooking the soup on the stove, all ages and skill sets were able to participate.
Whether you're a regular church attendee or have never stepped foot in a church before, all are welcome :)

Mandurah Refugee Welcome and Support Group
Some familiar faces from our church family were spotted in a recent issue of the Mandurah Coastal Times newspaper!
The article focused on the Mandurah Refugee Welcome and Support group that was formed by Desma, Anny, Monika, Wendy, Frank and Mike from our Mandurah church family. These members came together with one thing in common: they were concerned by the plight of refugees and wanted to do something that made a difference. They are currently raising funds to support a family suitable for placement in Mandurah. You can read more about the MRWSG and the amazing work that they're doing for God's kingdom by clicking here.
