RMLC Chapel is situated on the same site as Living Waters Lutheran College. This complex was built in 2000 without the intended storeroom in an attempt to reduce costs at the time. Due to our ministry expansion and a generous donation from a legacy, this project was begun in late 2020.
Thank you for your generosity and joining us in our desire to enhance our chapel complex for God’s work.

UPDATES
We started the project with a busy bee in Dec 2020.
- Cleared the site
- Relocated the turf to the junior school oval
- Relocated the reticulation and soak well
- Dug a trench for the concrete
- Compacted and levelled off the site
The next week consisted of getting the site ready for the pouring of the concrete. A huge thanks goes to Bert Freeman for the tremendous amount of work he’s put into preparing the site for our concrete pour and for taking charge in leasing and being a hands-on help from 5AM on the Friday morning of the concrete pour.
The concrete has been poured and is setting doesn't she look beautiful?
We currently have the slab down, all the bricks, sand and concrete onsite.
Quite a bit later than we have hoped we have started the bricklaying. Below are some daily updates.
The brickwork is now complete!!
Next stage will be getting our metal framework attached for the roof.
We now have a roof!!
We had another Church working bee to get a few jobs sorted, unfortunately due to the weather we weren't able to get all the things that we planned for the day ticked off. Below are some pictures of the day, cleaning the bricks and also installing the mezzanine floor.
We have now finished the brick work by the roof, and started the brick work for the ramp. We had a working bee where the door was hung and painted we also added in another drain for the extra gutter and sealed the concrete.
The inside area has been made ready to pour the concrete for the ramp soon. All 3 of our glass brick windows have been installed. We have fixed up the old double doors, replaced the glass with wooden panels ready to be painted. These will now be internal doors as the roller door has now also been installed. Relayed some cables for our sound and band equipment under the floor and through the wall so that the there is no trip hazard for those accessing the storage room.
The RAMP has been poured, how good does it look!
The door has been removed and painted, the cabinet has been installed.
Half of the carpet tiles have been laid. Also the ramp to the main entrance has been concreted ready to have the rest of the carpet tiles laid. Railing has been installed on the mezzanine floor.
The storeroom doors have been painted we have already filled up most of the area with chairs. Cupboards along the wall, Christmas tree and shelving on the mezzanine. Our youth ministry have really appreciated the space and convenience on Friday nights.
A MASSIVE thank you goes to; Andy, Ben, Brodie, Bruce, Burt, Dean, Jackson, Jason, Les, Luke, Martin, Manfred, Norbert, Oliver, Phil, Steve, Sam, Tom, Tim, Wes. Thank you to those that supported us in other ways with food, finances and letting those above give of their time.
