RMLC Chapel is situated on the same site as Living Waters Lutheran College. This complex was built in 2000 without the intended storeroom in an attempt to reduce costs at the time. Due to our ministry expansion and a generous donation from a legacy, this project was begun in late 2020.
We are now seeking to raise $20,000 to complete this long awaited facility.
Your support will ensure we can complete it debt free during 2021 so that our important work of sharing the Good News of Jesus can continue more easily.
Thank you for your generosity and joining us in our desire to enhance our chapel complex for God’s work.
We started the project with a busy bee in Dec 2020.
- Cleared the site
- Relocated the turf to the junior school oval
- Relocated the reticulation and soak well
- Dug a trench for the concrete
- Compacted and levelled off the site
The next week consisted of getting the site ready for the pouring of the concrete. A huge thanks goes to Bert Freeman for the tremendous amount of work he’s put into preparing the site for our concrete pour and for taking charge in leasing and being a hands-on help from 5AM on the Friday morning of the concrete pour.
The concrete has been poured and is setting doesn't she look beautiful?
We currently have the slab down, all the bricks, sand and concrete onsite.
Quite a bit later than we have hoped we have started the bricklaying. Below is a few pictures from day one.
Come back soon for some more updates!
